Social Justice

Currently, I am working towards a doctorate of education at Rowan University in Camden, NJ.  As part of my program I am continuously researching social justice issues in education and how we, as educators, can ameliorate these issues.

In the coming months (and years) I will be updating this section with more details as I near the dissertation phase of my doctorate.

Wayang Outpost

Wayang Outpost is an online Flash based Math Tutoring Program designed to help high school aged students pass their state comprehension exams. In the Outpost there are hundreds of algebra and geometry problems with helpful hints, games and animations. The goal of the project is to allow students to learn interactively in an online environment.  My specific role in this project was creating math hints in Flash as well as testing the software in Western Massachusetts high schools. During my time with Wayang we tested over 300 math students.
